Our Wedding

WOW, quite the ride this has been. We met on the streets of Key West during the winter of 2023. Kolbie was just arriving in her van after spending the Fall in Puerto Rico and Austin was on his way out after working with a local bbq spot. We spent our final overlapping days together and about two weeks later found ourselves crossing the country in a pick up truck, hauling a restroom trailer from state to state. A quick way for two seasoned travelers to find out if they are compatible or not, ha! When we parted ways at the Santa Barbara Airport, we were both sure that wasn't the end...but the beginning of something unique. For the next several months one chased the other and vice versa from state to state, island to island, wherever one may have been working at the time. Fast forward to present day and together, we have crossed the country 10+ times. We have spent hours upon hours and miles upon miles on the road together. We have some pretty wonderful plans for the future, as two people who can't stop dreaming, that love working for themselves, would. Individually and together, we both have lived very unique and interesting lifestyles. We're so thankful that the Universe brought us together by simply being in the right place at the right time. We are THRILLED to reunite and host our closest people, in the Florida Keys this December. With that being said, we would also like to acknowledge that we are aware the Florida Keys will not be the easiest place for everyone to get to, at this specific time of year. Although we would love to have all of our favorite people in one place, we completely understand that some will be unable to make it. So much love!

These are just a couple of various spots between Key West and Big Pine. We do not have hotel blocks due to everyone wanting to experience the Florida Keys a bit differently while on various budgets. There are SO many options. I would highly recommend any airbnbs on Cudjoe or Little Torch Key. Ideally looking for lodging BETWEEN Big Pine and Key West. Marathon is also an option, just a bit further up the Keys.

The TURO app is great for local car rental. The airport also works with a couple of companies. If you are choosing to stay IN Key West, keep in mind parking most places is quite limited. People Uber, bike, rent golf carts etc.

-Bahia Honda State Park. Located north of Big Pine. It really is as beautiful as it looks. This will be your "big" sandy beach.-Fort Zachary Taylor. located in the heart of Key West. Go check out the historic fort and catch the sunset.-Smathers Beach. Located across from the airport.

-Various markets throughout the week.-Key West Tropical Forest and Botanical Garden-Key West Butterfly Conservatory-Key West Gardens at Fort West Martello-Fort East Martello Museum-Hemingway Home and Museum-Boat Charters ALL OVER!-Highly recommend renting a bike and riding the entire island of Key West for a day-SO many things, these are just a couple of gems.
